The Brownfield City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 201 West Broadway Street.
During the meeting, council members will review financial and investment reports for the city, hear departmental updates from city leadership, and consider special event applications for upcoming community events planned at Coleman Park later this year.
Department heads are expected to provide quarterly reports addressing infrastructure maintenance, sanitation services, and operational policies. The council will also review two special event requests, including the annual Knights of Columbus cook-off and a Juneteenth celebration planned for June.
The meeting will include an executive session with the city attorney to discuss matters related to pending or contemplated litigation, as permitted under the Texas Government Code. Following the executive session, the council may take any necessary action.
Residents are also invited to provide public comment on agenda items at the beginning of the meeting. Individuals wishing to speak must complete a public comment sign-up form at the entrance to the council chambers before the meeting begins.
