Funeral Service for Mary Rowena Caswell will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Meadow First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Heath officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Rowena was born on March 7, 1927, to Ben and Molly Clemmer in Hamlin, TX. She passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 98.

Rowena graduated from Meadow High School in 1944, where she cherished her time as a student and embraced the values of hard work and dedication. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Charlie Caswell, in Meadow. Together, they worked side by side on the family farm, building a life filled with love, laughter, and steadfast commitment for 64 years until Charlie’s passing in 2012.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was a devoted member of Meadow First Baptist Church for 85 years. Rowena found her purpose in nurturing her family, and the laughter and joy of her children and grandchildren brought her immense happiness.

Rowena was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Caswell; son, Dennis Caswell; and son-in-law, Owen Barron. 

She is survived by 3 of her children, son, Steve Caswell of Meadow, daughter, Linda Barron of Lamesa, and son, Daniel Caswell (Tina) of Meadow; 7 grandchildren, Brooke Adcock (Marty), Alison Willits (Tim), Scott Caswell (Monica), Chris Caswell (Amy Ellis), Amber Caswell, Jacqui Bailey (Wayne), and Ben Coffer; 9 great-grandchildren, Madison Adcock, Bryson Adcock (Harley), Mason Adcock, Finn Willits, Ainslee Willits, Anne-Claire Willits, Brady Caswell (Vanessa), Taylor Caswell (Lizzy), and Melanie Calhoun.
