A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Edward Conrad Link, of Lubbock, passed away on February 16, 2026, in Lubbock, TX, after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 10, 1950, in Lubbock to David and Elizabeth Link. He graduated from Brownfield High School and attended both McMurry College and Texas Tech University. He retired from the City of Lubbock, where he worked in the solid waste department. Edward loved his friends and family and was known for his wit and humor. He enjoyed playing his guitar and visiting with friends in his apartment complex.

Edward accepted Jesus as his Savior on January 24, 2020, and is now healed of all illness. He loved talking about the Lord and praying with his family and the hospice chaplain when they visited him.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Deborah Link, and his nephew, Aaron Link. He is survived by his brother, George Link, and his wife, Vlinda, of Andrews; his niece, Cathy Gray, and her husband, Nathan, and their family of Andrews; and his nephew, Jon Link, and his wife, Tricia, and their family of Abilene.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Whisperwood Nursing and Rehab Center and Beyond Faith Hospice for the care he received in his last days. The family would also like to thank Sam and Carla Nordstrom for the Christian love and care they have shown Edward, as have his friends and neighbors at The Homestead Apartments.

Cremation services are entrusted to the care of Brownfield Funeral Home.
